The ICSW advocates for policies and programs that equalize females’
opportunities to be successful. In collaboration with other state
and local agencies and the private sector, the ICSW’s
staff leverage and coordinate state investments in women and girls
for maximum results. With females as more than half of Iowa’s
population, the State must do everything it can to ensure that
girls and women thrive. Building upon a foundation of girls and
women who have the resources and preparation to lead productive,
economically self-sustaining lives, we strengthen families, communities,
and the economy.
