The next Girls' Summit will is scheduled
to take place Fall of 20102 and bi-annually thereafter;
however, the Iowa Task Force for Young Women will continue
to report annually on data trends.

History
The inaugural Girls'
Summit was held October 12, 2007. Participants
discussed information provided and made recommendations
about steps to be taken to address this issue.
The Executive
Summary gives an overview of preliminary data as well
as policy implications; the full
report is also available.
A 2nd Summit was held on October 29, 2008.
